GEORGIE

Please meet Georgie!!

Georgie was an owner surrender to the AHS- Newark, NJ shelter in September.

Her "owner" said she kept her outside & used her for breeding & didn't want to care for her anymore.

Georgie was riddled with mites, fleas & had one of the worse cases of demodex mange we have ever seen (see one picture).

We have treated her for her skin & she is a dog again!!!

Georgie is playful, sweet, loving & such a great girl.

Georgie loves her toys, loves treats & is the best cuddler EVER!

Georgie is crate trained, house broken & is all around quite perfect.

If any girl needs a second chance at life, it's Geoegie!

She is by far one of our favorite girls & cant wait for her to find love... FINALLY!!!

PATRICK

He is one lucky boy to have a second chance at life, not many dogs like him do.

Patrick was an owner surrender to the AHS - Newark.

Yes, someone purposely & consciously did this to him.

We are happy that is “owner” had the right mind to bring him to a shelter, but the amount of dogs being surrendered after being left in these conditions is inexcusable.

We got the desperate call that the shelter is overwhelmed with dogs & Patrick was at risk due to his skin issues, medical cost & overcrowding.

He is literally hot to the touch, patches of fur gone, his head is caked with white yeast & mite bites & his skin is so raw & literally hard due to months & months of neglect.

Patrick’s skin is completely healed, he is neutered & a 2 years old loving boy who deserves the best.

GABBY

After 5 months in a home, Gabby has been returned.

Her journey with us started back in August 2024 when we pulled her from the AHS- Newark shelter after being found on the side of route 208 in Patterson, NJ.

Her past experience was so traumatic, we needed to amputate her leg due to infection & the severity of her injury.

We knew from the start that Gabby is generally fearful with other dogs & insecure in new situations.

However, we also know for a fact that when she feels safe, in a controlled environment with the proper guidance & trusts her surroundings… she is quite perfect!

Gabby needs the security & leadership of a strong owner who will resume not only the training but the continued management that we currently are putting in place for her.

We cannot thank Matt with Jersey K9 Club enough for teaching her more in depth tools & confidence to successfully live in the real world.

She has been with him & in his care for two and half weeks & is doing AMAZING.

She has several more weeks of training with him but we are confident in the right home she will thrive.
